Download blender 2.46 here in blender masters! I created this month a category in repository for downloads of Blender binaries.
There are versions of Blender for Windows 98 / Me / XP / Vista and Linux, including a special build for windows 98 / Me users. Every release I will publish a copy of Blender official releases.
Of course, if you would like to publish or suggest some file, just contact blender masters.
The binaries are at the binaries section.

The official release of the BBB movie files has been succesfully
completed! You can still support Blender by purchasing the 2-disc DVD

 The new blender 3d version, 2.46, doesn´t run on windows 98 / Me because of a configuration file which there is only on Windows NT or above. (source: Blender Nation).
But, a user has built a version avaible on his personal page at this link.

I found this sample picture showing fur made with the new Blender 2.46 particle system... This really scared me. Soo, I´ll write a good tutorial and post it here to cover this awsome new feature.
