This is a tutorial / blender sample of what is possible to do with Blender building a FPS. It´s a discussion from blenderartists forum.

Review: "This way I can show the new guys that it's a little more complicated than they initially thought, and at the same time provide a usefull resource for people who have the skill to mod and use the template, saving them some development time (or at least that's the hope here)."

Duplicating objects

When we duplicate objects we can use SHIFT + D or ALT + D.

On the first way both will be independent objects. This means that both are totally separeted objects.

On the second way, all the copies will be instances from the first object. This means that all modifications on the first object will happen in all other objects.
