What could we do to improve the site? - 2007/05/27 16:55 Hi everybody,

I'm working hard to write tutorials and news, update the site and bring to you the newest news about Blender.
Well, nothing is easy and this site is updated in my free time.
I'd like to invite people who wants to help.
It would be with tutorials, news, files to repository, or tips to improve our blendermasters.

I'm looking for ideas for the rendermaster script too, so, if you are a programmer and you would like to help with the project, your help it's welcome.

I'm happy to say that we had 1700 visits this month (300 more than the last month) and the plans are that we keep growing!

It'd be nice to be able to browse all of the entries somewhere. And it would be nice if there was an easy way to add new entries.

How can I upload a picture for the galeria? there is a fatal error with your server when i try to upload (repository -> upload -> error -> me =( ....)

"All that cool things about Blender" is English, but without proper Grammar.

My suggestions are:

"The Coolest Things Possible With Blender"

"The Cool things Blender Can Do"

"Cool Blender Tricks By The Pros"




My other sugggestions are:

- Implement an easier to browse database for all the video uploads, etc.
= Specifically
o Thumbnails
o Alphabetized
o Most popular (after creating a voting system)

- Screenshots for the videos

Re:What could we do to improve the site? - 2007/10/27 15:08 It might be helpful to have a video clip or a thumbnail of a finished tutorial.

I suppose the clip or thumbnail could be located in the "Gallery" with a pointer from the Gallery to the tutorial and vice versa (a pointer from the tutorial to the gallery)? That way the clip would be visible in both locations? Je ne sais pas

Re:What could we do to improve the site? - 2008/05/07 06:26 I came to this site searching for a glow effect(with nodes) thank you very much for the tutorial.

to improve the site
1. it took me to long to find the Login/Register button. At CGtalk its always on the top right.

2. The menu on the left should really be the one on the top.

3.Fire fox tool bar? Why is that there is it making any money for the site? less AD's is better get rid of the one not makin money.

expect to see me here alot. I do like the site.
