Warping Tool - 2007/06/23 14:11 The tutorials are fantastic. I have tried to follow the procedure for warping the text around an object but cannot reverse the text. I keep running out of room on the desktop. The text will warp fine with the letters reversed. Any suggestions on how to flip the letters.

Thanks

This also happened to me when I was testing the tutorial.
There is a simple solution you can do.

Well, I do as said in the tutorial, added the sphere, the text, extruded the text and converted the text to mesh.
I got this result:

Re:Warping Tool - 2007/06/23 20:51 However, if you try change to Top View and select all vertices, then press shift + W, there's a possibility to get an inverted text.

To solve that, select the text (already converted to mesh), change to Edit Mode pressing TAB,
and press A twice to select all vertices.

Change the Pivot to Median Point.

Press SPACE, choose Transform > Mirror > X Local.

Switch to Top View, change the Pivot to 3D Cursor and with all vertices selected in edit mode, press SHIFT + W.

Now it should work.

A image ilustrating the proccess:

Re:Warping Tool - 2007/06/24 21:17 Thank you for your reply. Your suggestion worked very well. I am a noob, so just learning. Now when I figure out why my rotation is not on the central axis, it is all going to look really cool. I can't seem to keep the rotation around the center. Well must continue to figure this out. Again much thanks.
